About Economics Students Association at San Francisco State University
The Economics Students Association (ESA) is a student organization at San Francisco State University that strives to connect and build relationships between SFSU economics students and other students, alumni, and faculty within San Francisco State Universitys economics department. In addition, it aims to foster constructive communication between the departments student body and professionals, such as alumni and potential employers working in relevant fields to economics. The ESA also works to provide community discussion at SFSU on important topics in the discipline of economics, as well as keeping students informed about available scholarships, internships, and job opportunities. To these ends, the ESA creates events for the students and the department such as social/recreational events, lectures, forums/debates, tours, field trips, employer presentations, and other career related events.
